9/2/2023 0 Comments Mark man new vegas dlc![]() ![]() This makes the most sense lore wise, and the difficulty scales naturally with this order IMO. I'd go Honest Hearts, OWB, Dead Money and the Lonesome Road. I did do an earlyish run of Lonesome road just to nuke the legion and dunk on them before getting a pardon, so its possible to do early game. I mentioned running into Lonesome Road at level 1, but I doubt anyone can survive Courier Mile at that point, and I feel as if you lose out on the better loot with how potentially difficult exploration can be. The enemies in Honest Hearts at a high level offer a decent challenge, and even carry anti-material rifles, but the experience has always been consistent regardless of when you enter Zion. Whether that's an issue tbh is up to the player, but the fear of reaching level 50 is real entering the Big MT as a beefy courier. I'd always recommend Dead Money on subsequent playthroughs after that particular level once you really need lots of stimpaks or med-x for Julie Farkas.ĭoing OWB last creates a problem where the scaling makes for a decent challenge, but the constant barrage of enemies gives you way too much experience. The ghost people scale consistently after level 5 from my experience, so that's a perfectly valid approach. If we're on the subject of higher levels. ![]() r/galaxynewsradio - Fallout-sounding music r/falloutcosplayers - Fallout-related cosplay r/Wasteland - A subreddit for the Wasteland games. r/thefalloutdiaries - Journal-like fan fiction. r/falloutmods - Fallout modding community r/classicfallout - Classic Fallout Games r/falloutlore - The lore of the Fallout series Piracy is a permanent ban, no warnings.Īll posts and comments in end, come down to moderator discretion. Increasing your Sneak skill is essential if you want to be an effective sniper. Stealth is an important part of a sniper build, both because it allows you to get hits in before combat begins and since sneak attacks deal critical damage. You should only choose one of these depending on whether you want to use ballistic guns or energy weapons.Įxplosives is the next essential skill because sometimes a sniper won't be enough since they're slow-firing, so using an explosive to defeat a room full of enemies is occasionally helpful while using a sniper build. Guns or Energy Weapons are the two primary skills you should focus on. You'll also gain ten points to allocate between your skills any time you increase in level, in addition to one per each point of Intelligence you have. Upon starting a new character in New Vegas, you'll have the ability to choose three skills to add 15 extra points to for starting you off. Skills allow your character to become significantly stronger in certain areas, such as with a specific weapon type. ![]()
